Anna Varla is an economist and tax consultant at TaxGate, holding an A’ Class Accountant License. She graduated from the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1999. Anna has been with the company since 2000, where she has held the roles of Executive Officer and Board Member. Her primary expertise lies in managing double-entry bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients, including some of Greece’s leading companies in sectors such as hospitality, dining, and manufacturing. With extensive industry experience and a well-established professional network, Anna is a trusted expert in financial management, providing invaluable support to clients in addressing complex financial and tax-related matters. 

Thanassis Balaskas is the Senior Manager, Accountant, and Head Accountant at TaxGate’s Kolonaki headquarters. With extensive experience since 2005 and a degree from the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus, Thanassis specializes in managing double-entry books for clients across various sectors. He is committed to continuous professional development and regularly participates in industry seminars to stay updated on the latest accounting and financial trends. 

Georgia Karava manages a wide range of office and administrative tasks at TaxGate. She graduated from the Department of Accounting at the Technological Educational Institute of Messologgi, where she completed her studies from 1999 to 2001. Georgia has been with the company since 2004, initially serving as an Assistant Accountant, and has progressively taken on more responsibilities. She has handled various roles, including double-entry bookkeeping, managing document registration through the Hyper Accounting system, processing registration forms, and overseeing VAT-related tasks such as periodic returns. Additionally, Georgia manages bank agreements, customer and supplier balance reconciliations, and prepares profit and loss statements.  

As General Director of TaxGate, Georgia is responsible for organizing both internal and external operations, ensuring smooth administrative functions across the company. She actively participates in professional seminars, both in person and online, focusing on VAT issues, tax returns, intra-community transactions, and other taxation matters. Georgia’s strategic oversight and commitment to operational excellence are key drivers of TaxGate’s continued growth and efficiency. 

Nikoletta Thermioti is a skilled accountant with a degree from the Technological Educational Institute of Chalkida in Accounting. As the Manager, Accountant at TaxGate, she is responsible for overseeing the management of double-entry accounting records and providing expert assistance to clients on accounting and taxation matters. Nikoletta’s dedication to accuracy and compliance ensures the integrity of our financial reporting and the successful resolution of client inquiries  

Michalis Rovatsos is a Senior Manager, Accountant, and Tax Consultant at TaxGate. He holds a degree in Economics, Accounting, and Tax Consulting from the Department of Public Administration at Panteion University of Athens. A member of the Economic Chamber of Athens, Michalis is an active participant in seminars on tax laws and accounting practices. He utilizes digital technologies to offer specialized tax and corporate advice, helping businesses navigate complex regulatory environments and achieve their financial goals. 

Eleni Konstantopoulou is a Senior Manager, Accountant, and Tax Consultant at TaxGate. She holds an A’ Class Accountant certification and earned her degree in Administration and Economy, specializing in Accounting, from the University of Western Attica. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Financial and Banking Accounting. With a robust foundation in accounting, Eleni has attended numerous seminars across various fields, further expanding her expertise. She is committed to providing specialized adviceand helping businesses thrive through strategic financial guidance. Eleni is fluent in Greek, English, and French, enabling her to offer comprehensive support to a diverse clientele.

Sofianna graduated from the University of Piraeus in the Department of Accounting of the School of Management and Economics, holds an A’ Class Accountant license and is fluent in Greek and English. Her professional experience began in 2003 as an assistant accountant. She has training on income tax, invoicing, VAT, international and Greek accounting standards and the preparation of budgets and monthly financial statements in recognized Greek and global organisations.  She also has teaching experience, as she taught at IEK Peristeri for a period of 6 months the course  “ACCOUNTING APPLICATIONS II” of the Department “TAX OFFICE SPECIALIST”.She has now joined TAXGATE as a Manager Accountant. 

Athanasia Arvaniti is the Manager, Accountant, and seasoned Tax Consultant at TaxGate. She graduated from the Technological Educational Institute of Accounting in Piraeus and has furthered her expertise through numerous seminars on accounting software and taxation for both individuals and legal entities. As the Head of our Single-Entry Bookkeeping Department, Athanasia oversees the maintenance and auditing of single-entry accounting records, as well as the preparation and submission of VAT and VIES returns. She also manages income tax returns, real estate property declarations, lease agreements, and debt settlement processes. Known for her steady and dependable presence, Athanasia is the backbone of our accounting services and a trusted advisor to our clients on all tax and accounting matters. 

Antonis works as a Senior Accountant at Taxgate. He is a graduate of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Western Greece and has been a member of our company since November 2017. He deals with the keeping of double-entry books, as well as with the wider range of tax issues. He has an excellent knowledge of the English language and seeks continuous training regarding accounting matters.  

Vasiliki Donti is an Assistant Accountant at TaxGate, having graduated from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences with a major in Economic and Regional Development. Initially joining as an intern, Vasiliki now works in the double-entry bookkeeping department, where she applies her knowledge and skills to support the company’s accounting operations. Fluent in both Greek and English, she embraces new challenges with enthusiasm and dedication.   

Elena Gavrielatou is an Assistant Accountant at TaxGate, having earned her degree in Accounting from the Athens University of Economics and Business, within the School of Business Administration. Elena joined the company in 2023 following a successful internship and now specializes in managing double-entry bookkeeping. Her passion for accounting, sparked during her university studies, has driven her to pursue ongoing professional development through various accounting and tax seminars. Elena’s commitment to continuous learning and her proactive approach contribute significantly to the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting services we provide. 

Konstantina Adamopoulou holds a degree in Business Administration and Local Government Organization. She serves as an Assistant Accountant in our Single-Entry Bookkeeping Department, where she applies her academic background to support financial operations. Konstantina is known for her dynamic approach and forward-thinking mindset, embodying the potential of the new generation to drive innovation and contribute meaningfully to the company’s progress. Her enthusiasm and creativity help enhance the productivity of our team and bring fresh perspectives to the department. 

Ioanna-Maria Gamari is an Assistant Accountant at TaxGate, having earned her degree from the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Peloponnese. Specializing in double-entry bookkeeping, Ioanna-Maria also manages a variety of additional accounting responsibilities. Fluent in English, she brings valuable industry experience, particularly in the maritime and construction sectors, to her role. Ioanna-Maria’s expertise enhances the efficiency of our accounting processes and ensures comprehensive financial oversight for our clients. 

Chryssoula is an Assistant Accountant at Taxgate. Student of the Department of Business and Organization Administration with specialization in Local Government at the University of Peloponnese. She is a new member of TAXGATE, and staffs our offices in Athens, gaining experience and knowledge by attending seminars focusing on companies that keep double-entry books. She speaks fluently English. 

Dimitra Theotoka is a graduate of the Accounting and Finance department at the Athens University of Economics and Business. She has knowledge in general accounting and experience with both single-entry and double-entry accounting systems. Dimitra is fluent in English and has attended seminars on business management, e-commerce, and digital marketing for companies. She joined our company as an Assistant Accountant, specializing in double-entry accounting for companies operating in various sectors, including the medical and construction industries.

Vasiliki Kyrimi is an Assistant Accountant at TaxGate, where she plays a vital role in the double-entry bookkeeping department. She graduated from the 1st Vocational School in Haidari, specializing in Economy and Administration in Tourism, and later obtained her degree in Accounting and Finance from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Vasiliki’s diverse educational background allows her to bring a comprehensive approach to accounting, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial services. 

Nikolaos Malliaris is a graduate of the Accounting and Finance department at the University of Western Macedonia. He has knowledge in general accounting and payroll and invoice entry. Nikos is fluent in English and French and has attended seminars on digital skills and business management. He joined our company as an Assistant Accountant after completing his internship. In his current role, he works with Category C companies and always aims to expand his knowledge and skills.

Sofia Marigloulla is an Assistant Accountant at TaxGate, holding a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Patras. Fluent in English and proficient in computer applications, Sofia plays a key role in the Single-Entry Books Department, where she applies her skills to maintain accurate financial records and ensure efficient processing of client accounts

Foteini has successfully completed her studies with a specialization in Accounting and Taxation for Computerized Accounting Offices. Her professional experience includes an internship at the Tax Office, providing her with valuable practical insights. She is proficient in English and currently holds an integral position within our team at our office in Athens, where she contributes to the double-entry bookkeeping department.  

Maria is an Assistant Accountant at Taxgate for the last 3 years occupied with companies with double-entry books. She has studied at the Technological Educational Institute of Peloponnese at the Department of Business Administration, while she has also studied at IEK at the Department of Business Administration in the Tourism Sector and speaks English fluently.  

Lazaros Smyridis is a Senior Assistant Accountant and Tax Consultant at TaxGate, with a degree in Business Administration from the University of West Attica. Lazaros has expanded his expertise through specialized seminars in modern accounting methods, tax laws, and accounting software. He is responsible for managing single-entry accounting books, submitting income tax returns, and overseeing the accounting outcomes for various companies. Fluent in both Greek and English, Lazaros is dedicated to ensuring that clients’ financial records are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements. 

Dimitra Gantzoudi leads the Payroll Department at TaxGate, where she oversees payroll issuance and verification. With extensive expertise in labor-related matters, Dimitra is highly proficient in utilizing the Ergani system. She holds a degree from the Accounting Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus and has participated in a wide range of seminars focusing on accounting, tax, and labor topics. Dimitra is fluent in both Greek and English and is dedicated to ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll processes for all clients.   

Manolis, who joined TaxGate in 2021, is the Head of the Payroll Department with extensive experience since 1986. Known for his dedication and inspiring mentorship, he plays a crucial role in assisting clients with payroll issues and has become an integral member of our team.  

Vasia Zahaki holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of West Attica and currently serves as an Assistant in the Payroll Department at TaxGate. Vasia is responsible for overseeing payroll issuance and managing payment receipts, as well as ensuring the accurate operation of the ERGANI system. She also calculates and submits Analytical Periodical Statements, drafts employment contracts, and handles employment-related changes such as working hours, recruitment, and employee departures. Vasia’s meticulous attention to detail and her expertise in payroll management ensure seamless operations for our clients. 

Eleni Katsanaki is an Assistant Accountant at TaxGate. She graduated from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, earning a degree in Economic and Regional Development. Eleni began her career with TaxGate as an intern and has since progressed to her current role in the Payroll Department. She is fluent in both Greek and English, contributing to her ability to communicate effectively and support the department’s operations. 

Malvina Tsavaliari is an Accountant at TaxGate, with a dual role that spans both the Payroll Department and contributions to Human Resources and Marketing. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Sussex and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from London. Malvina’s professional background includes experience in international companies listed among the Big 4, PWC – PRICEWATERHOUSE COOPERS  London as well as at the United Nations in London. Her broad expertise in accounting, payroll services, and business administration enhances the effectiveness and success of our team. Fluent in English, French, and German, Malvina also regularly participates in seminars and conferences on accounting, payroll services, and international accounting standards. 

Stefanos has been working at Taxgate for the last 15 years as Manager of External Services. Stefanos contributes significantly to the smooth operation of our company and also to the smooth and immediate service of our clients’ affairs by undertaking daily the receipt and delivery of documents and other documents, as well as the face-to-face communication with the Public Services and authorities. He is fluent in Greek and English.  

Panagiotis is responsible for the external operations of the company in the Southern and Western sectors of Attica. With many years of experience in the accounting field and a deep understanding of how various public services function, Panagiotis has the ability to serve clients with professionalism and efficiency. Always willing to assist, he successfully handles the most demanding issues and ensures the smooth operation of processes, providing reliable and timely solutions to the company’s clients and partners. 

Foivos holds the position of IT Manager in our company, where he is responsible for the Software Development and Database Management departments. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in Informatics, having studied as a Software Developer. With his experience and ongoing education, Foivos is always eager to leverage the latest technological advancements and innovations to enhance the company’s technological infrastructure and ensure the maximum efficiency of the systems supporting our operations. With his ability to lead and guide teams, Foivos ensures the successful development and management of software and databases that meet the demands of modern business processes and effectively serve our clients’ needs. 

George works with our company as an IT Support Specialist in the Digital Accounting department. He is a graduate of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering at the University of Peloponnese and possesses excellent proficiency in the English language. He specializes in the development and implementation of computer networks and is responsible for supporting and optimizing the technological infrastructure that serves the department’s needs. 

Christos is a new member of our team and is occupied as an IT Support in the Digital Accounting department, with expertise in network administation and technical support for software issues. A graduate of the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering of the University of West Attica, he is very fluent in English and French and is always willing to meet modern technological demands. 

Nikos works in our company as an IT Support in the Software Development Department, specializing in the development of software solutions tailored to the needs and automation of our company. He holds a degree in Computer Science, is fluent in English, and is committed to continuous professional development by attending a wide range of seminars, focusing on Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. 

Daphne takes pride in her dual role at TaxGate as both protector and team therapist. As Head of Security, she ensures the office is always safe by diligently monitoring every visitor (and their snack bags) and patrolling the premises for potential threats (like unattended sandwiches). In her capacity as an unofficial psychologist, she provides the ultimate emotional support—calming nerves during tight deadlines, listening intently to rants, and offering tail wags or cuddles exactly when needed.
Before joining TaxGate, Daphne honed her skills in a variety of roles, including Professional Squirrel Chaser, Certified Nap Specialist, and Snack Quality Control Intern.
